Two hundred years into the Space Era-the age of humanity's expansion beyond Earth-civilization is thrown into chaos after two meteors strike the planet in the early 21st century. By the year 179 of the Space Era, a third meteor crashes into the Marquesas Islands, where the Earth Federal Government uncovers advanced alien technology labeled "Extra-Over Technology" (EOT). Dr. Bian Zoldark, leading the EOTI Institute (Extra-Over Technological Investigative Institute),discovers evidence that the creators of this technology are on their way to Earth, possibly to reclaim or even invade the planet. To prepare for this extraterrestrial threat, the government starts developing humanoid mechs known as Personal Troopers.
