PSYREN

Ageha Yoshina is a confident high schooler who takes payment for helping people out. After finishing a job, he comes across a mysterious calling card in a phone booth with the word "Psyren" on it and pockets it, not knowing what it means. The next day, he notices his classmate Sakurako Amamiya has the same card. When he asks her about it, she begs him to save her-marking the start of his problems. Puzzled by their meeting, Ageha grows suspicious when Sakurako vanishes. Trying to make sense of it all, he calls the number on the card and hears a strange voice asking him several questions, ending with one final, eerie choice: "Would you like to go to Psyren?" With that, he and Sakurako are pulled into a deadly game set in an unfamiliar world filled with creatures known as Taboo. Given psychic abilities called PSI, the two must fight their way back home.
