Samurai 7 - S01

In a distant future on a planet that might once have been Earth, a long war was fought between samurai who had mechanized their bodies. When the conflict finally ended, a fragile peace settled over the land. Now, the people of Kanna Village face starvation and brutal attacks from the mechanized bandits known as Nobuseri. With no other options, the desperate villagers decide to hire samurai for protection-even though all they can pay with is rice from their dwindling harvest. The village's water priestess, Kirara, her younger sister, Komachi, and a grieving villager named Rikichi embark on a perilous journey to find willing warriors. Through hardship and chance, they assemble seven samurai, each with unique skills and backgrounds, to stand against the Nobuseri and the shadowy merchants who control them. "Samurai 7" draws loose inspiration from Kurosawa Akira's classic film "Seven Samurai" ("Shichinin no Samurai").
