In the cyber city of Tom Sawyer, people live by collecting "Love," which works like social media likes. This currency lets them access public services and alter their appearance using the Decoration Customizer, or "Deco"-a holographic device implanted in their eyes from childhood. The government maintains order, and life stays peaceful, aside from the rare disruptions caused by Phantom Zero, a shadowy figure who drains all Love from anyone nearby. Berry, a playful girl obsessed with Phantom Zero, enjoys her life in Tom Sawyer until her Deco glitches, allowing her to spot Hack, a hidden trickster. Convinced he’s Phantom Zero, she pursues him and stumbles upon society’s buried truths. But Hack isn’t the only one operating outside the system-and beneath Tom Sawyer’s bright façade lies something far more unsettling.
