Tribe Nine - S01

Disillusioned with society, young people in Neo-Tokyo formed tribes to carve out their own identities. But loyalty to these groups turned extreme, sparking violent clashes. In response, the government passed the XB Law, forcing tribes to settle their disputes through "Extreme Baseball"-a high-tech, rule-bending version of the sport where players wield extendable bats, pitchers use specialized gear, and almost anything goes. When timid Haru Shirokane is cornered by bullies, he’s rescued by an unlikely duo: Shun Kamiya, the star player and leader of Minato City’s top-ranked tribe, and Taiga, a rival determined to surpass Shun as the strongest Extreme Baseball player. After a series of chance encounters reveal their untapped potential, both Taiga and Haru end up joining Shun’s Minato Tribe. But now, a new menace looms over Minato City-Oujirou Otori, a shadowy figure rallying the tribes against them. To stand a chance, the Minato Tribe may need their two rookies to rise to the occasion and fight back against the encroaching darkness.
