Makunouchi Ippo, the Japanese Featherweight Champion, has successfully defended his title again, relying on his powerful Dempsey Roll to overpower his opponents. But now, fresh challengers are emerging, each claiming they’ve figured out how to counter his signature move. As the pressure mounts, Ippo must prove he can overcome these threats-or risk letting his own pride be his downfall before he truly understands what strength means. Meanwhile, his Kamogawa Gym teammate Aoki Masaru is closing in on his own shot at glory, just one Frog Punch away from challenging the Japanese Lightweight Champion. "Hajime no Ippo: Rising" follows Ippo’s journey to grow stronger, alongside the same endearing but often clueless crew from Kamogawa Gym, as they throw everything they have into the brutal world of professional boxing. With unshakable determination, Ippo steps back into the ring, ready to face whatever comes next.
