Tracing the Gray Summer

The year is 1976, and Giuliana "Giulia" Bianchi, an eleven-year-old girl, lives a simple life in the quiet northern Italian town of Seveso. Her peaceful world is shattered when an accident at a nearby chemical plant covers the town in a mysterious white powder. The company responsible refuses to explain what happened, leaving Giulia and her friends no choice but to search for answers themselves. As animals die and the townspeople begin suffering alarming symptoms, the urgency to uncover the truth grows. Joined by a Japanese journalist named Shirou Andou, the children set out to reveal the full extent of the environmental disaster and demand justice from those responsible.
