The Sky Crawlers

In an alternate world where global peace has been achieved, wars are no longer fought between nations but between private corporations. Yuuichi Kannami, a newly transferred fighter pilot in Area 262, carries out his duties without question. But as he settles into his new base, he uncovers unsettling secrets. Through Kannami’s perspective, "The Sky Crawlers" explores the existence of the "Kildren"-genetically altered humans who remain eternal teenagers with enhanced reflexes-and the mysterious ace pilot called "Teacher," who once flew before him. Yet the biggest enigma is the base commander, Suito Kusanagi, and her connection to it all. The answers lie within Area 262, but the truth may demand more from Kannami than he’s prepared to give.
