In a future where age doesn't limit one's abilities-only skill and training matter-an organization called Machine Robo Rescue (MRR) pairs children with robots to save lives. Twelve kids with unique talents are chosen for the program, known as Robo Rescue. One of them, Oozora Taiyou, arrives late on his first day but quickly jumps into action with JETROBO for a daring rescue. During the mission, a strange robot from a shadowy group called "The Star" suddenly interferes. What does this mysterious organization want? What are they after?
