Home of Acorns

Keiko, the only daughter of the Takazi family, was born with severe disabilities-deaf, mute, and intellectually impaired. Though her parents struggled to come to terms with her condition, their pain lingered. Everything shifted when Keiko enrolled in a school for the deaf and mute. There, not only Keiko but also her parents found growth through the support of teachers and friends. Together, they formed a group called "Donguri" (acorn),creating a community workshop where people with disabilities could live independently.
