Gundam Reconguista in G

In the year Regild Century 1014, a thousand years have passed since the legendary Universal Century, when heroes like Amuro Ray and Char Aznable fought as elite mobile suit pilots. The Earth’s surface, once a battleground, is now largely deserted, with most of humanity living in space colonies or on the moon. Bellri Zenam, a student at Capital Guard Academy, enjoys a quiet life until the day pirate pilot Aida Surugan and her mobile suit, the G-Self, are captured. Bellri feels an inexplicable bond with the G-Self and learns he can pilot it. His peaceful days end as he clashes with the "Capital Guard," a rogue faction pursuing its own hidden goals, defying the Amerian Army that still controls Earth. Joining the crew of the Amerian ship Megafauna, Bellri and Aida must take the G-Self into battle against the Capital Guard and its leaders-the charismatic Colonel Kunpa Rushita and the mysterious Captain Mask.
