The year is 2040. Japanese robotics have advanced dramatically, with robots now capable of understanding human speech and even experiencing emotions. In "New Musashino City," a futuristic suburb of Tokyo, humans and robots coexist peacefully. Among them is Ichiro, a boy who lives happily alongside his friends-both human and robotic.
