Blue Giant

Ever since jazz music changed his life, Dai Miyamoto has been determined to become the greatest saxophonist in the world. After just three years of playing, he takes a leap of faith and moves to Tokyo to pursue his dream. At a tiny music club, Dai meets Yukinori Sawabe, a pianist, and believes he’s found the perfect partner for his band. But Yukinori, with his classical training, hesitates to work with someone so inexperienced yet so confident. When he hears Dai’s raw talent, though, he can’t refuse. Together with Shunji Tamada, who’s even greener than Dai, the three form JASS-a band with a fresh sound that could breathe new life into the stale jazz scene.
