Electronic investigator Echika Hieda specializes in sifting through people's memories via the Your Forma, using the recorded data to crack the most challenging cases. The trouble is, she works at such an intense pace that her assistants burn out trying to keep up, often ending up hospitalized. After one too many incidents, her superiors assign her a partner who can match her skills: Harold Lucraft, a brilliant but irreverent android.
