Yo-kai Watch Shadowside: The Return of the Oni King

Thirty years have passed since the original events of "Youkai Watch." The story once followed an eleven-year-old boy named Keita Amano, who possessed a special wristwatch that allowed him to command Youkai. He befriended these spirits and accomplished many remarkable things. But as he grew older, Keita lost the ability to see Youkai. The watch itself, deemed a threat to the balance between the human and Youkai worlds, was banished beyond time and space. Over time, its legend faded into obscurity. Now, after many years, a new crisis emerges. A malicious Youkai virus called Onimaro begins infecting people with dark intentions, transforming them into Kaodeka Oni and spreading chaos across the city. With disaster looming, only those chosen by a new Youkai Watch can rise to confront this threat-and possibly save both humans and Youkai from annihilation.
