To Me, the One Who Loved You

After his parents' divorce, seven-year-old Koyomi Hidaka chooses to live with his father, a researcher studying parallel worlds at the Japanese Institute of Virtual Science. Through his father's work, Koyomi meets Shiori Satou, another child of divorced researchers, and the two quickly become inseparable friends. As they grow older, Koyomi and Shiori promise to marry someday-until their parents announce their own plans to wed, making the two step-siblings. Unwilling to accept this, they use their parents' research to flee to a parallel world, hoping to build a life together. But their escape comes with unexpected consequences, threatening the future they fought so hard to create.
