Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone

In a ruined world, Tokyo-3 stands as Japan's last surviving city, protected by massive defenses. Fourteen-year-old Shinji Ikari is summoned to NERV, an underground organization run by his distant father, Gendou. There, he is asked to pilot an "Evangelion"-a giant humanoid machine designed to battle the "Angels," terrifying alien beings that ravage the earth and push humanity to the brink of extinction. Though hesitant at first, Shinji agrees, hoping to mend his broken relationship with his father. As the pilot of Evangelion Unit-01, he joins the desperate fight against the Angels. Now, with the fate of humanity at stake, Shinji must find the strength to confront these relentless enemies before they destroy what little remains of the world.
