Satomi Amano is a top student and the daughter of the lead project manager at Hoshima, a company at the forefront of AI innovation. But her status has left her distant from her classmates-a divide she doubts she can bridge. One ordinary morning, while getting ready for school, Satomi stumbles upon her mother's newest ambitious project: an AI designed to test whether robots can coexist with humans. Curious about how her mother plans to begin, Satomi heads to class-only to find the AI standing at the front of the room. Shion Ashimori, the AI in question, is supposed to blend in as an ordinary high school girl without revealing her true nature. Yet Shion has her own mission: to bring happiness to Satomi.
