Revolutionary Girl Utena: The Movie

Utena Tenjou, a mysterious new student at Ohtori Academy, quickly becomes the center of attention. Yet her own gaze lingers on Touga Kiryuu, a childhood friend who stands apart from the others. Touga knows Utena’s secrets-including the meaning behind the Mark of the Rose, a set of rings worn by those who duel for the hand of the Rose Bride, Himemiya Anthy. The winner of these duels claims Anthy, and the one who triumphs over all is said to gain the power to revolutionize the world. Utena finds herself pulled into the dueling arena, but her tangled history with Touga could undo everything. In this fresh take on the original story, appearances are deceiving.
