Thirty years ago, a mysterious group of mutants with the power to control fire appeared without warning, devastating much of the world. Known as the "Burnish," they continue to emerge unpredictably, spreading chaos and destruction wherever they go. Promepolis, an independent republic, has managed to thrive under the leadership of Kray Foresight, who has dedicated himself to fighting the Burnish threat. A specialized firefighting unit called Burning Rescue combats these deadly mutants using advanced technology designed by their brilliant mechanic, Lucia Fex. Galo Thymos, a passionate and impulsive young recruit, idolizes Foresight for saving his life and throws himself into the fight with unwavering enthusiasm. When a radical Burnish faction known as Mad Burnish begins wreaking havoc across the nation, Galo crosses paths with their leader, Lio Fotia. This encounter sends him on a path to uncover the truth behind the Burnish-forcing him to confront the beliefs he once took for granted.
