Nyan Koi! - S01

Junpei Kousaka is a high school sophomore with a serious allergy to cats-a condition that has made him despise them and everything about them. The irony? Everyone around him adores cats: his family, his distant childhood friend, and even the girl he likes, Kaede Mizuno. One afternoon, on his way home from school, Junpei casually tries to kick an empty can into the trash but misses badly. Instead of landing in the bin, the can smashes the head off a statue of a cat deity. That accident leaves him cursed with the ability to understand what cats are saying. But there’s a catch: if anyone finds out about his curse, they’ll start having constant accidents and end up cursed just like him. Now, with the reluctant help of a cat named Nyamsus, Junpei has no choice but to perform a hundred good deeds for cats to break the curse. If he fails, he’ll turn into a cat himself-and with his allergy, that would mean certain doom.
