I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class

Maehara Maki spent high school feeling isolated, unable to form close friendships. Then everything changed when Asanagi came into their life. Though the boys secretly called her the "second cutest girl in class," Asanagi skipped spending Fridays with her best friend Amami-the so-called "cutest girl in class"-just to hang out with Maki. At Maki’s place, they played games, watched movies, read manga, and ate junk food like pizza and burgers, washing it all down with cola. To others, their time together might have looked sloppy, but for Maki and Asanagi, it was something special-a quiet, private world just for them.
