Freelance photographer Kouhei Morioka travels to a German castle to photograph paranormal activity for his friend Hiromi Anzai, an occult magazine editor. Inside, he meets a strange girl in a white dress with cat ears named Hazuki. She seems drawn to Kouhei and playfully offers a kiss-only to reveal she's a vampire who bites him, intending to make him her servant. To Hazuki's surprise, Kouhei remains unaffected by her bite. Desperate to escape the castle and her overbearing butler Vigo, she enlists Kouhei’s help. With the aid of his exorcist cousin Seiji Midou, they manage to flee. Once free, Hazuki disappears to Japan in search of her mother. But when Kouhei returns home, he finds her already settled in his house. Though reluctant, he lets her stay. Meanwhile, other vampires begin hunting for the missing Hazuki. Blending gothic mystery with lighthearted charm, "Tsukuyomi: Moonphase" follows an unlikely pair as they navigate a world of immortals, forming a bond neither expected.
