Yuna Ichihara's spring break takes a sad turn when she says goodbye to her best friend Sacchan, who is moving away. On her way home, her mood lifts after spotting a boy who resembles the prince from her favorite shoujo manga-her first love. Soon after, she gets tangled in an unexpected friendship with her new neighbor, the poised and confident Akari Yamamoto. Now in high school together, Yuna finds herself drawn to Akari's brother, Rio-the same enigmatic boy she met during break. Meanwhile, Akari develops feelings for Yuna's laid-back childhood friend, Kazuomi Inui. But love doesn’t come easily for any of them. Their mismatched friendships and hidden tensions create obstacles, leaving them stuck in place. To untangle their feelings and move forward, they’ll have to face their personal struggles and uncover the truths buried between them.
