Tsukasa Atsumi is an ordinary office worker who lives a quiet, lonely life. One night, while heading home from work, he’s rescued from a demon by a woman dressed as a ninja. She introduces herself as Shizuri Ideura and explains that demons hunt people like Tsukasa-those with Samurai Blood-and that her people have secretly protected them for generations. Shizuri warns Tsukasa that the attacks will only get worse, so he offers her a place to stay in exchange for her protection. Much to his surprise, Shizuri turns out to be a homebody who spends her free time glued to video games when she isn’t fighting demons. As they share their days together, Tsukasa starts to enjoy her presence-and he suspects she might feel the same way.
