Clannad: The Motion Picture

Tomoya Okazaki is a disaffected high school delinquent with no real goals, drifting through life without purpose. A childhood tragedy left his father broken and distant, drowning in alcohol while neglecting his son. But when Tomoya crosses paths with the peculiar Nagisa Furukawa, she extends an unexpected kindness-one he initially brushes off as meaningless. Yet their encounters keep happening, and despite his reluctance, Tomoya slowly lowers his guard and lets her in. After learning about Nagisa’s dream to restart the school’s Drama Club, Tomoya finds himself drawn into her world, setting aside his apathy to support her. What begins as a simple bond soon grows into something deeper, reshaping both their lives. As they navigate struggles and setbacks together, Tomoya and Nagisa begin to confront the hardships life throws at them-and discover what it means to truly connect with another person.
