Aura: Koga Maryuin's Last War

Ichirou Satou was just an average high school student trying to stay under the radar. Back in middle school, he used to pretend he was a hero named "Maryuuin Kouga," a phase that only got him bullied. Now, he wants nothing more than a quiet, uneventful life-though he can't shake the feeling that everything around him has lost its color. One night, when he returns to school to retrieve a forgotten textbook, he bumps into a peculiar girl dressed in an elaborate costume. She turns out to be Ryouko Satou, a classmate who, much like Ichirou once did, clings to a fantasy identity and wears outfits to match. The next day, his teacher asks him to befriend her, but Ichirou refuses outright-he doesn’t want to relive his past. Yet when he sees her being bullied in the same way he once was, something changes. Determined to protect her and pull her out of the same delusions that once trapped him, Ichirou realizes this might be the perfect mission for the hero he once pretended to be-Maryuuin Kouga.
