After years of tension, the leaders of Osaka's Somei and Tokyo's Miyama yakuza clans agree to a truce by arranging a marriage between their grandchildren-Yoshino Somei and Kirishima Miyama. Seventeen-year-old Yoshino moves to Tokyo to live with the Miyama family and attend school alongside her new fiancé. Though Kirishima appears friendly and well-mannered, something about his behavior feels off to Yoshino. Her instincts prove right: behind his polite facade, Kirishima is a sadistic and masochistic lunatic. He casually inflicts pain on others and enjoys being abused in return. What he craves most is a spoiled, domineering fiancée who will make his life miserable. When Yoshino fails to live up to his twisted ideal, he drops the act and cruelly belittles her. But instead of fleeing, Yoshino vows revenge-she’ll make Kirishima fall hopelessly in love with her, only to crush his heart without mercy.
