X&Y - S01

After a late-night drinking session, Yan Yuechu and his coworker Hu Zhi take shelter from the rain inside an odd location-the building housing Xu Aiyou’s infamous escape game, XY. Despite its eerie reputation and the owner’s mysterious nature, they decide to give it a shot. With only an hour to solve puzzles and navigate a maze of unsettling rooms, the two succeed in escaping on time. Yet, fragments of what seems to be Xu Aiyou’s troubled past, hidden within the game, leave a haunting mark on them-so strong that vivid images from new escape games begin invading their dreams. The next day, Yan Yuechu gets a letter warning him to avoid escape games. Xu Aiyou offers no clear answers, but that night, Yan Yuechu dreams again, this time trapped in his own bedroom, forced to solve a puzzle to escape. Was it just a dream? As the line between reality and illusion blurs, Yan Yuechu must unravel the truth behind XY if he hopes to keep his mind intact.
