Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You - S01

*"Rewritten Synopsis:"* The only thing keeping middle-aged Sasaki going through his soul-crushing job is the warm smile of Yamada-the cheerful cashier at the 24-hour supermarket he visits daily. After each exhausting shift, enduring his boss’s harsh words, he stops by the store just to see her, letting her kindness lift his spirits. One night, after an especially rough day, Sasaki arrives only to find Yamada’s shift has ended. As he lingers outside, disappointed, a woman from the store calls him over. Tayama, bold and teasing, wastes no time calling him out for his habit of always seeking out Yamada-even joking about his obvious crush. Now, Sasaki finds himself returning not just for Yamada, but also to see Tayama, his unexpected smoking companion. Yet Tayama’s playful mischief hides something deeper. With each shared cigarette, an unlikely bond starts to form between them.
