Pupipo! - S01

Himeji Wakaba is a fifth-grader who can see things others can’t-mostly scary evil spirits that harm the people around her. Because of this, she has no friends and hardly ever smiles. Sometimes she tries to bring stray animals home, but her parents always refuse. Concerned about their lonely, unsettling daughter, they finally make a promise: whatever Wakaba brings home next, they’ll let her keep. The next arrival is Pupipo, a strange pink monster. True to their word, her parents allow it to stay. No one knows exactly what Pupipo is, but it keeps the other spirits away from Wakaba. With Pupipo’s help, she befriends a new student obsessed with the occult and even stands up to bullies. For the first time, Wakaba’s life feels brighter-all thanks to her odd pink companion.
