Puella Magi Madoka Magica - S01

Madoka Kaname and Sayaka Miki are ordinary middle school students living ordinary lives-until they meet Kyuubey, a strange cat-like creature, and Homura Akemi, a mysterious new transfer student. Kyuubey presents them with a deal: he will grant any wish they desire, but in return, they must become magical girls, gaining the power to achieve their dreams. Yet Homura, herself a magical girl, warns them against accepting, insisting that the truth behind this bargain is far darker than it appears. A tale of hope, despair, and bonds, "Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica" explores the harsh realities of being a magical girl and the sacrifices required to make a wish come true.
