Pompo the Cinephile

Joelle Davidovich Pomponette, who goes by "Pompo," is a gifted movie producer with her grandfather's industry connections and sharp eye for filmmaking. Even though she could easily make prestige films, she sticks to churning out low-budget B-movies-until she gives her assistant, Gene Fini, a script for a sweeping drama about a composer's life and tells him he’ll direct it. Gene dives into the project with everything he has, but as the tight deadline looms and the workload piles up, he finds himself grappling with the tough choices required to bring his vision to life.
