Phantom of the Idol - S01

Kazuki Yoshino and Yuuya Niyodo form the idol duo ZINGS. Kazuki pours his heart into every performance, but Yuuya sees the job as nothing more than a paycheck. His indifference toward fans and lack of effort push his manager to issue a warning: if he doesn’t start taking his role seriously, he’s out. One day backstage, Yuuya meets Asahi Mogami, a former idol who died a year ago but still clings to her dream of performing. Dressed in her vibrant costume, she’s furious when she learns Yuuya doesn’t share her passion for the idol life. In a burst of anger, she demands to take his place-and somehow, she does. Yuuya wakes up to find Asahi has possessed him, handling the performances he can’t be bothered to care about. At first, Yuuya thinks this is his ticket to an easy ride. But Asahi has bigger plans. Even in death, she wants to reignite his ambition and push them to become the greatest idol duo ever. The question is, can someone as lazy and money-driven as Yuuya ever truly care?
