OKITSURA: Fell in Love with an Okinawan Girl, but I Just Wish I Know What She's Saying - S01

Teruaki "Teru" Nakamura moves from Tokyo to Okinawa and unexpectedly finds himself drawn to his lively classmate Hina Kyan, who goes out of her way to make him feel welcome at his new school. But Hina speaks in a thick local dialect, leaving Teru struggling to keep up with her words. Despite this, she enthusiastically introduces him to the rich culture of Okinawa. Luckily, Hina’s best friend Kana Higa steps in to help translate and even offers to teach Teru common phrases. But Kana has an ulterior motive-she’s developed feelings for him and uses these lessons as a chance to get closer. As the three spend more time together, each unaware of the others’ emotions, Teru slowly adapts to his new life, finding comfort in their growing friendship.
