Occult Academy - S01

The story follows Maya, the daughter of the former headmaster of Waldstein Academy, and Fumiaki Uchida, a time-traveling agent. In 2012, aliens invade the world, prompting agents to travel back to 1999 in search of the "Nostradamus Key"-an object prophesied to bring about the apocalypse. The story shifts to 1999, where Maya returns to the academy with plans to dismantle it by taking over her late father’s role as principal. Her scheme is disrupted when she meets Fumiaki and learns of the impending catastrophe. Though wary of him, they reluctantly team up to locate the Nostradamus Key. To aid their search, time agents are given special cell phones. By photographing an object while thinking of destroying it, the phone reveals whether it’s the key: a peaceful image confirms it, while a scene of destruction means it’s not. Using this device, Maya and Fumiaki investigate strange occult events unfolding around town.
