Nodame Cantabile - S03

Shinichi Chiaki is gaining recognition as the lead conductor of the revived Roux-Marlet Orchestra, while Megumi "Nodame" Noda is steadily improving as a pianist at the Conservatoire de Paris. Yet their relationship grows strained as Nodame feels overshadowed by Chiaki's rising fame and his bond with piano prodigy Rui Son. Ignoring her teacher Professor Charles Auclair's warnings, Nodame throws herself into another piano competition, hoping to kickstart her own career. Around them, others face their own challenges. Rui begins questioning her abilities after hearing Nodame play and being rejected by Auclair; Maestro Franz von Stresemann confronts his declining health; pianists Yunlong Li and Tatiana Vishneva pour themselves into competition preparations, with Tatiana also grappling with her feelings for oboist Yasunori Kuroki. As Chiaki, Nodame, and their friends push forward, they must stay grounded in who they are-and never forget where they began.
