Tsuwabuki is an ordinary but somewhat solitary student. His routine changes when he encounters Sumomo Akihime, a transfer student, and another girl who are the sole members of the school's gardening club. Pressured by a teacher, Tsuwabuki reluctantly joins them. His life takes a bizarre turn after accidentally swapping drinks with a strange, dog-eared stranger. Drinking the mysterious liquid transforms him into a stuffed animal. The teacher explains that the only way to reverse the curse is for the "chosen girl" to collect seven stardrops-and that girl is Sumomo. She agrees to help, unaware that the stuffed animal she’s assisting is actually Tsuwabuki.
