ジャンケットバンク - S01

Karasu Bank ranks among Japan’s top financial institutions, holding the country’s third-highest operating profits. Akira Mitarai, a young second-year employee at the bank’s central branch, has an extraordinary talent for math-he can instantly detect accounting errors, but this skill also makes his daily routine painfully dull. One day, Akira is abruptly reassigned to the Special Operations Department’s "Appraisal Unit," described as a critical division within the bank. Skeptical of the transfer and unfamiliar with the department, he learns the shocking truth from his new boss: the bank secretly runs a massive underground casino, and the Appraisal Unit oversees both the gambling operations and the gamblers who participate. But these players don’t just wager money-they risk their very lives as collateral. The higher the stakes, the greater the rewards, but at the highest level, losing means death. Stunned by the bank’s hidden world of high-stakes gambling, Akira encounters Shin Mafutsu, a mysterious and brilliant gambler. Fascinated by Shin’s uncanny ability to expose opponents’ cheating and win, Akira dives into this deadly game as Shin’s bank representative.
