Libra of Nil Admirari - S01

The Taishou era didn’t last just 15 years but stretched on for another 25. To save her fading family, a young woman agrees to marry a man whose name she doesn’t even know. But just before the wedding, her younger brother mysteriously burns himself to death, clutching an old book. Soon after, she encounters the "Imperial Library Intelligence Asset Management Bureau"-known as "Fukurou"-who reveal the existence of "Maremono," books that profoundly influence their readers. Worse, since her brother’s death, she has gained the unsettling ability to see "Auras," the emotions of these books, which normally remain hidden. It feels as if fate is pulling her into its fire. Despite her fears, she steps out of her sheltered life and into a world of jealousy, hatred, scorn, compassion, and love. But what awaits her in the imperial capital is a darkness laced with betrayal, already weaving its spell. Lost and tossed in that darkness, will she uncover the truth after her trials-or succumb to it?
