Liar, Liar - S01

Hiroto Shinohara transfers to Academy Island, a school where students rise in rank by winning games-the highest status being a Seven Star. On his first day, he crosses paths with Sarasa Saionji, the feared "Empress" of the island and granddaughter of its director. A misunderstanding leads to a game, which Hiroto unexpectedly wins, forcing him into a dangerous lie: he must pretend to be a top-ranking student or face expulsion. Luckily, he’s not alone. The secretive "Company," led by Shirayuki Himeji, helps him cheat his way through the challenges thrown at him by rivals eager to take him down. Though just a One Star, Hiroto must act like a Seven Star to survive-all while searching for a girl from his past who disappeared without a trace.
