Kiitaro's Yokai Picture Diary - S01

Kiitarou keeps a record of his encounters with youkai, spirits only he can see clearly. After sneaking into a forbidden storeroom, his strong spiritual sensitivity gets him thrown out of his home. He finds shelter in a new place, where he befriends Suzu, a zashiki warashi, a spirit that inhabits houses. Together, they start drawing in all sorts of supernatural beings, like a nurikabe-a wall-like creature that blocks paths-and mokumokuren, which appear as eyes peering through torn paper walls. As their strange life unfolds, more folkloric beings seem destined to cross their path.
