Japan's newest competitive sport, keijo, has simple rules: women compete on floating platforms called "lands" in a pool, using only their chests and backsides to knock opponents into the water. Though the concept seems absurd, the sport draws massive audiences and offers huge cash prizes, inspiring many to train for a shot at becoming champion. Nozomi Kaminashi, a spirited 18-year-old fresh out of high school, joins keijo to earn money for her struggling family. With her natural talent as a gymnast, she makes a strong impression in her first tournament, quickly rising as a contender. As she advances, Nozomi forms friendships and rivalries, learning that the road to keijo fame demands more than physical skill-it tests her determination and spirit.
