Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens - S01

As a kid, Jin Mikuriya was out catching bugs when he had a chance meeting with a deity. That encounter later inspired his latest artwork: a wooden statue called "The Tree Spirit." Excited to show it off at school, Jin expects to spend the day basking in praise-but before he can even pick it up, the statue suddenly absorbs the surrounding earth and bursts open, revealing a living girl inside! She introduces herself as Nagi, a guardian of the earth, and insists Jin must help her purge the land of "impurities." But there’s a problem: her tree was cut down, leaving her powerless. Now, all she has is a single magic wand to fight with. Bound together by this strange turn of events, Jin and Nagi navigate their new partnership-learning about each other through the chaos of everyday life.
