Green Green - S01

Kanenone Gakuen is an all-boys boarding school in rural Japan. While the idea of an all-male school isn't unusual, the lack of female students nearby makes life challenging. To improve everyone's mental well-being, the school board considers merging with the nearest all-girls school to become co-ed. The boys of Kanenone are excited by the idea, and the girls are intrigued by how life might change with more boys around. Before making a final decision, the girls are invited to stay at Kanenone for a month-long trial period. "Green Green" follows Yuusuke Takazaki and his troublemaking roommates, nicknamed the "Baka Trio," as they try (and often fail) to interact with the girls without embarrassing themselves. When the girls arrive, chaos erupts-full of hormones, awkwardness, and over-the-top reactions. One girl, Midori Chitose, immediately stands out when she jumps off the bus and hugs a bewildered Yuusuke. Is he just naturally charming, or do the two share a past he doesn't remember?
