First Love Monster - S01

Kaho Nikaidou, a freshman from a powerful family, has never heard a harsh word in her life-people are too afraid of upsetting her relatives. Wanting to be treated like an ordinary person, she moves into a dormitory for her new school year. Soon after arriving, she stumbles into traffic and is rescued by a tall, handsome stranger. When she asks his name, he calls her weird and leaves. For the first time, someone has spoken to her without kindness-and Kaho is instantly smitten. She later learns his name is Kanade Takahashi and confesses her feelings. Kanade agrees to date her but warns she might change her mind when she learns his secret. The truth stuns her: Kanade is only in fifth grade. Though she plans to end things, Kaho finds herself growing fonder of him as they spend time together, and she stays in the relationship. "Hatsukoi Monster" follows Kaho’s first love with Kanade-a sweet but childish fifth grader who challenges her sheltered world.
