A growing epidemic of severe internet addiction has left many young people dangerously dependent on the digital world. Those deemed beyond help are sent to Elite Reeducation Academy, a facility meant to rehabilitate them into functioning adults. Hibiki, a troubled teenager, wakes up in the school with no memory of how he got there. The head instructor explains that his mother, alarmed by his increasingly aggressive behavior due to his addiction, had him forcibly brought there. Trapped in what feels more like a prison than a school, and subjected to relentless abuse from the staff, Hibiki reaches his breaking point. He climbs to the rooftop, ready to end his life-until a mysterious man named Shin appears, offering him something unexpected: a reason to keep living.
