Curious about why her best friend’s boyfriend left her for another man, the bold Eiya Arakawa insists on meeting him to get answers. At a café, Yuuga Oota agrees to explain-but only if Eiya can correctly guess the relationship of a couple nearby. She nails it on her first try. Impressed by her sharp mind, Yuuga later invites her to a private meeting where he reveals the "Slave Control Method" (SCM),a strange device that can turn people into slaves. When two SCM users duel, the device alters their minds, making the loser feel bound to obey the winner. Eager to test his skills, Yuuga asks Eiya to be his backup in case he loses-her job is to use the 10 million yen he gives her to buy his freedom if he becomes enslaved. Though unsure at first, Eiya agrees, drawn by her own desire for something more in life. But as a shadowy group starts gathering slaves at an alarming rate, Eiya finds herself caught in a deadly game far beyond what she bargained for.
