On the night before summer vacation, high school sophomore Manatsu Daichi spots an odd circular rainbow hovering over Tanegashima-one he remembers seeing before. Drawn by memories of his father’s unexplained death and a past encounter with a peculiar boy and girl, he heads to the island alone. When he arrives, an alarm blares from a building marked "Earth Engine." A stranger asks if he’s a captain, just as robotic invaders known as the Kill-T-Gang descend from Uranus. The fight beneath the glittering stars is about to start.
