Kazuma Hoshino is stepping into a new chapter of his life as a teenager. Since his younger brother Ayumu has fragile health, their parents decided to move the family from the city to the countryside. For now, the brothers are staying at the Yorozuyo Inn while their parents wrap up loose ends and prepare their new home. But their arrival doesn’t go smoothly-they take the wrong bus, end up stranded, and Ayumu’s hat gets snatched by a monkey. Kazuma chases after the animal, only to get lost in the woods. There, he stumbles into Ui, a lively girl helping him find his way back. In a clumsy moment, he trips and accidentally kisses her, sparking anger in her friend Ibuki, who quickly kicks him away. Kazuma’s streak of bad luck continues at the inn, where the mischievous landlady Senka enjoys teasing him with her offbeat humor. To his dismay, he also discovers that two of his new classmates are the very girls he embarrassed himself in front of earlier. As Kazuma adjusts to school, navigates his growing circle of female acquaintances, and supports his brother, strange memories start resurfacing-fleeting glimpses of a forgotten childhood friendship. Why does this place feel so familiar? What do these sudden flashes of the past mean?
